Industry’s longest extended warranties on NVRs and DVRs clearly underpins IDIS signature quality and reliability, while giving IDIS integrators a clear competitive advantage and ensures end users a low total cost of ownership
With average industry warranties ranging from three to five years, IDIS, South Korea’s largest surveillance manufacturer, has laid down the warranty gauntlet at this year’s IFSEC International by announcing the IDIS Ultimate Warranty.
Available to all integrators, installers and distributors regardless of their partner status, IDIS will offer a five year warranty as standard, plus an extended two year warranty across its entire range of H.265 network video recorders (NVRs) covering the IDIS DirectIP™ series and the company’s multi-format HD-TVI, DirectCX, TVRs, so in essence offers end users an industry-leading seven year warranty.
The extended warranty gives IDIS integrators and installers a clear competitive advantage as well as giving peace of mind and an ensured a low cost of ownership for end users. The IDIS Ultimate Warranty is also particularly competitive when compared to PC-based solutions that typically handle up to 64-channels, which have a maximum warranty of three years, meaning end users need to purchase additional warranty way before the end of lifecycle their surveillance solution.
A recent survey conducted by IFSEC global showed that most organisations upgrade their surveillance systems between five to seven years. This means end users can be confident that their IDIS solution will be supported for its entire life cycle and demonstrates that IDIS is certain of its industry-leading quality and reliability.

The IDIS Ultimate Warranty will apply to products shipped globally from July 2017 and end users need to contact their integrator, distribution partner or local IDIS office to apply for the additional two-year warranty.
