IDIS, a global leader in IP video surveillance, today announced that Tavcom Training, a leading supplier of security system training courses, selected IDIS DirectIP™ HD surveillance solution for its UK training centres which provides training programs for security professionals from across the Europe.
IDIS’s newly launched DirectIP framework and IP protocols that enable rich connectivity and full functionality of each device and element within its powerful yet intuitive high-definition (HD) video surveillance solutions. The DirectIP framework tackles compatibility and the issues associated with existing protocols, which often prevent the full functionality of cameras, network video recorders (NVRs) and other network equipment from being realized. Designed to provide a simple yet high-performance solution, the framework builds an entire network system from a single source supplier with the DirectIP suite comprising a range of IP cameras and NVRs, video management software plus DirectIP switching hubs and accessories.
“DirectIP really impressed at IFSEC in terms of performance with excellent and stable image quality while the sleek look of both cameras and NVRs will complement our upgraded training facility. Using DirectIP™ we will ensure that installers, operators and security managers are trained using the latest technology in terms of HD megapixel and networked surveillance,” commented, Mike Tennent, Managing Director of Tavcom Training.
For implementation of IDIS DirectIP system to its training centres, Tavcom Training plans to shut down their UK operations for two weeks over the summer to overhaul their facilities. DirectIP system will enhance training experience for Tavcom trainees by introducing cutting-edge surveillance systems using the latest networked full HD technology. The new system will also upgrade Tavcom Traning’s surveillance training capability from conventional DVR-based system to next-generation DirectIP comprising 10 units of 2-megapixel IP cameras, 5 network video recorders (NVRs) and 5 Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) switches operated and managed through the IDIS Center™ bundled video management system (VMS).
“This is a real coup for IDIS as security operatives from across Europe will experience first-hand DirectIP during Tavcom training. As proven at the IFSEC launch, DirectIP speaks for itself – cost-effective full HD surveillance that’s simple to install and operate combined with unrivalled quality and performance. We fully expect users to come away realising the power and capability DirectIP can deliver,” said Brian Song, Managing Direct, IDIS Europe.
Packaged as a one-stop-shop affordable solution, DirectIP delivers unrivalled plug-and-play simplicity, combined with highest-quality performance, compatibility and industry leading pricing. For more information, e-mail email@example.com.
