South Korea’s largest surveillance manufacturer highlights special achievements by SECOM Plc, iC2 CCTV and EET Europarts Ltd

A series of major integration projects by SECOM Plc and iC2 CCTV were highlighted at IFSEC with a special award ceremony on the IDIS stand C140. At the presentation, EET Europarts Ltd was given special recognition for its excellent service in distribution over the last twelve months.

Each year IDIS recognises key achievements by partners with an event on its IFSEC stand followed by a drinks reception. This is just one of a number of initiatives by company – including its Global Partner Summit for distribution and integration customers across the world - which underline the value it places on collaboration.

“Working in close partnership with our security industry friends – great companies like SECOM, iC2 CCTV and EET Europarts – is a top priority for us,” says Y D Kim, CEO, IDIS. “This approach helps shapes our technology development programme and ensures that we remain best placed to deliver solutions that the market really needs.”

Recognising successful projects over the last year, Y D Kim, CEO of IDIS presented partner awards to Alan Blake, Commerical Director of SECOM Plc, Andrew Whelan, Managing Director of iC2 CCTV and EET Europarts’s Managing Director, Simon Smith.

SECOM Plc, which is a global market leader in tailored fire and security solutions across the globe, was named as National Integration Partner. This year SECOM completed a number of notable IDIS video integration projects, including solutions for a top coffee brand, a leading pub chain and a household name in fitness and leisure centres. The company, which employs 53,000 people in operations around the world, is delivering a growing number of high profile integrations which use IDIS solutions.

London-based integrator iC2 CCTV was presented with the Specialist Integration Partner Award. The company has completed several successful projects using the latest IDIS technology over the last year and has proven adept at using wireless technology. This has been of particular value for local authority customers such as Leybourne Parish Council, allowing video surveillance to be extended and modernised with minimal need for civil works and disruption.

And EET Europarts was presented with the Security Distribution Partner award for outstanding service over the last twelve months. EET Europarts’ UK operation distributes surveillance, access control and public-address equipment to installers and integrators nationwide. The company has supplied IDIS solutions since 2014 and has realised great success with the DirectIP® line up as well as IDIS DirectCX®, an advanced HD analogue solution that allows customers to leverage existing coax cabling.

Speaking at the IFSEC presentation, James Min, Managing Director, IDIS Europe praised the achievements of this year’s award winners. “Together we are demonstrating what the best technology and the most dedicated people can achieve. When we work closely together and support our partners we deliver outstanding solutions for our customers.”
