IDIS DIRECTIP™ NAMED TECHNOLOGY INNOVATION OF THE YEAR AT PSI PREMIER AWARDS

Installer publication’s readers choose IDIS DirectIP™ as 2014’s top innovation

BRENTFORD, LONDON, 24 JULY 2014 – DirectIP™, the groundbreaking total security and surveillance solution from IDIS, was named “Technology Innovation of the Year” at the 2014 PSI Premier Awards. The awards, organised by security installer publication PSI Magazine, recognise the industry’s best and most popular offerings in several key categories.

PSI selects finalists annually, in consultation with industry insiders and experts.  The magazine’s readers, from the security installer community and beyond, are then invited to choose winners via electronic ballot. PSI states that finalists, including DirectIP™, are chosen due to industry excellence in “features, benefits, ease of installation and best service,” while noting that category winners reflect the preferences and popular sentiments of the security community, as well.

Brian Song, Director of IDIS Europe, commented, “IDIS is truly honoured to have DirectIP™ selected as ‘Technology Innovation of the Year’ at the PSI Premier Awards.  This award validates the hard work over many years by the IDIS team to bring to market a total security and surveillance solution that was truly innovative, offering something new and of value, to the market.

“It is especially meaningful that it was PSI readers—the very members of the security community IDIS serves—who voted to grant DirectIP™ this honour.”

IDIS offers DirectIP™ as an end-to-end solution, comprising a range of cameras, monitors, NVRs and comprehensive video management software. DirectIP™ delivers unrivalled plug-and-play simplicity, combined with highest-quality performance and industry-leading pricing levels.
