WHY HOTELS ARE GIVING REMOTE MONITORING SERVICES A FIVE STAR RATING
The hospitality
sector was hit particularly hard by the COVID-19
pandemic, but the lifting of international travel restrictions has
seen a welcome resurgence in the market. Lessons learned from the
pandemic have caused many people to demand improved security as well
as health and safety conditions where they lodge. This is
incentivizing hotels to expand their amenities and invest in
security solutions and related services to keep them competitive as
they bounce back post-pandemic. In this blog, Martin Kwitschau,
Chief Executive Officer, Hospitality Resources examines how remote
monitoring and virtual guarding capabilities are helping hotels to
enhance security for staff and guests whilst saving the expense of
employing guards on-site. To understand the full range of benefits
provided by remote monitoring services read the guest blog here.

AI-POWERED VIDEO CAN GIVE RETAIL THE CX-FACTOR
In his latest
blog, Jamie Barnfield, Senior Sales Director at IDIS
Europe looks at how improving the customer experience is giving
bricks-and-mortar retail an advantage, despite soaring inflation and
slow growth, supply chain shortages, and a cost-of-living crisis.
Online sales have fallen post-pandemic, while footfall in
destination mall and historic towns and cities is on the rise as
shoppers seek a feel-good customer experience. Yet to stay
competitive and keep customers coming back, ensuring good customer
service, and bringing something new to the in-store experience is no
longer a question of choice, but a matter of survival. Barnfield
explains how AI-powered video that delivers at-a-glance customer and
in-store intelligence is set to play a vital role if retailers are
to continue to thrive. To gain new insights read
