HYPERMARKET CHAIN STREAMLINES COMPLEX VIDEO INFRASTRUCTURE WITH IDIS
IDIS video technology has been chosen by Finnish
hypermarket giant
Prima to streamline its existing surveillance system - a complex
infrastructure that mixes-and-matches more that 150 third-party
devices. The old system had become difficult to maintain and
operate, with significant latency issues impacting loss prevention
operations across four malls. Integrator Safe IT recommended IDIS Solution
Suite VMS to enable simple
integration, and to allow
existing equipment to be retained with easy centralized management
and control of all devices and sites. An advanced video wall will
deliver comprehensive coverage with no visible latency and empower
operators to tackle shrink in real-time. And as is typical of IDIS
projects in the retail sector, this is expected to deliver a rapid
return on investment, boosted by the IDIS low total cost of
ownership promise. Read the fascinating customer testimonial here.
